Welcome to BYC! My wife and i lived in McAlester, OK for awhile and have a lot of fond memories from our time there. You should get a lot of good eggs from your flock. Black Australorps are my favorite standard breed chicken as they are very hardy, calm and gentle, and excellent layers of large, brown eggs. Good luck with your flock.
