Hi everyone, I'm Anne. I love my chickens! I'm in Kiwitea, New Zealand. I have 6 hyline hens, a Barnavelder rooster and hen, a brown shaver, a bantum (breed unknown) and one other lovely mamma hen (also breed unknown) who hatched out a Barnavelder hen and another hen like herself. I don't plan on raising any more babies (hubby would kill me) but never day never aye?! *waves hello*

I love my chickens as well. I agree, never say never, maybe one day will get me some more to raise.
 
Welcome to BYC, Anne. Glad you decided join our flock. You have some excellent layers. Brown Shaver is one of a number of labels under which some hatcheries market their Red Sex Links which are laying machines.
