Another of the cassin's auklet type bird mysteriously appears

Every two months or so I find one of these :

in my flock. Always with the bad beak. ALWAYS. he/she makes number 3. Always with the bad beak.


What is it and wheres it coming from.

Tyson is the only chicken place around me ( i know because i live on a highway with neighbors like 6 miles down the road). I know all my neighbors on each side for the next 15 miles or so and THEY don't have chickens.

So what is this?

wow thats one of the wierdest stories i've ever heard I had to read it like 10 times to understand it? so every 2 months a new chicken just shows up outta no where? I wud guess you have a wild flock of black, beak demented chickens.

they come in as young birds with hardly any feathers.... so we have not reached adult size yet.

I'll try to get pics of the only other young adult.
