Another Portlander

Hi Everybody, so I am new here obviously and this is a small story...

I used to live in Idaho and my neighbors had chickens. Then I moved to the big city and with my own little organic garden we, my partner and I, thought chickens would fit right in. Unfortunately I won't be able to have any until next year. So until then research, research, research. So far I am thinking of getting a Golden Wyandotte, Speckeled Sussex, and a Australorp (not specific at all huh?) I just can't wait to chickens join our queer family.

welcome from across the river! lots of research is a good plan... I read three books cover to cover and pored over websites for hours and hours all winter before I ordered my first chickies this past February. Good luck to you! we'll look forward to hearing abotu your chickies once you get them
