When it rains it pours.. impacted crop, worms and now a girl with a ? injury. Here is the issue. About 3 days ago I noted one of my buff girls was limping. Favouring her left leg. She was still getting around and still is. The thing is that she will walk or stand on her knuckles instead of on her flat foot. She seems more comfortable that way. The day I noted she was outside and she had not been limping in the morning. I think I saw my buff roo get her while standing on the cement walk. I am wondering if she had her leg or foot wrong when he got on.... She still gets around a forages and all..... I am hoping it is nothing, but she does sorta look like she has to think to use it... takes a bit more effort. When she runs somewhere she sorta hops along... thoughts....

Hmmm, I don't know but hopefully someone can help you. Do you have a picture or a link to a video to see how she is standing and walking? That would be helpful for someone to help you.

Best wishes.

I can try to get a pic, but I don't know how to upload... I have linked in the past to pics on another site....

BUMP- My girl is still limping around, but she is getting around. Foraging, eating going in and out of the coop and barn. I don't know how to put pics on here. When she gets around she mostly uses the good leg, but will put the other leg down. SOmetimes on the knuckle and sometimes on the foot. I am not sure the cause. She does not seem to bothered. Maybe I will give her a bit of baby ASA to help with any discomfort. ... I am still guessing injury from the Roo! My profile pic is George the roo who likely caused the issue. He has a limp too!!! They make a great pair, gahhh!
