Another pullets or rooster game?

Thank you everyone - I was hoping I was wrong, but looks like it's unanimous

My dreams of fresh eggs look a little premature! So what is the best age to try and post roos on Craigslist?

I recently found out that out of 6, I had 4 roos. I started advertising mine at 5 and half weeks old so I'd advertise as soon as possible if I were you, 2 of mine are 10 weeks now and have found homes, I'm keeping the other two and hoping no one will mind too much

they are teeny tiny bantams and I'm planning to keep them in the dark til a decent hour of the morning and see if that works.

Optimal processing age is around 16 weeks, I believe. So now would be good, but if people want them for meat it may be a while before they show interest. I helped with some 5 month roos in October and they were tough because they'd been around too long - so 12-16wks for butchering.
