Another question about Ideal hatchery/ Chicks came at 2 PM Pictures included page 3

Well the 23rd came and went its 1:26 AM and I never got the notice.


I am hoping the 24th i will get the notice the 25th will be day 7 so if I don't get an email by noon on the 24th guess I will just have to call and see what the hold up is.

Hi, I just ordered chicks from Ideal also for the May 23rd hatch. I live close to Nacogdoches, TX Ideal called me yesterday on the 23rd and told me they were shipping my chicks out and I should get them within 1 day. I hope this information helps you. This is the first time I have ordered from Ideal. LOL Well this is a first time raising chicks for me!! So wish me luck.

Wow I wonder how come I never got a call that seems to take the fun out of it all. I contacted them today and asked them when I would get my order and they said they was shipped out yesterday but I never got a notice

I feel like I been cheated out of the whole experience lol


Oh well at least I now know they are coming and could be here today or tomorrow.

I think its messed up though because they didn't give me time to call my post office, or even time to arrange for someone to take me to the post office. I was relying on them to do what they do for everyone. This is why I ask how does Ideal do things but I guess too they could have gotten very busy but as long as my babies get here safely I won't complain to much

I have ordered from Ideal several times. Despite living in S. Central Texas, I have never received the chicks until the second day. You should receive them tomorrow morning. Call the post office today and give them your name and phone number, so they can call you when they arrive. Usually your name and number are already on the box, but I like to be sure. I know my post office calls around 5:00 a.m., so be prepared and get up early. If you haven't heard by that time, I would call the post office and ask them if they have arrived. Good luck. I am expecting an order from Ideal on the 8th of June myself.

I spoke to the post office and they said they will be bringing the chicks to me. But that they will call me before they come out to make sure someone is home.

The Post office just called me the chicks just now arrived and they are bringing them to me. Will be posting pictures as soon as they get here

I got my hatch from the 22nd two days later. I expected them Friday but they shipped a day earlier than I expected.

Post office called me this morning at 7:15 a.m. said I could come and pick up my chicks, just knock on back door. I was so excited. Of course I hurried down to pick them up and get back home.

Ohhh I could not be more pleased with the assortment they sent, I just wish I knew what they are..lol. But again that's why they call it a surprise package!!

I've got to figure out how to post a pictures of the Lil chickies ,my husband already named one Geraldine. We had to seperate Geraldine from the rest she got trampled by the others and her foot is hurt, I have her in a box by herself because the others would not leave her alone, they would grab her leg and drag her around. Poor little thing.

Just put them in the laundry basket for a picture lol they can fit through the holes.

Stormy, I do so hope your lil chickies arrive safe as mine did. I have not figured out how to post picture to post, so I added it as my avatar so that you can see my lil chickies, I just love them.
