Hello, I am very new to raising chickens and have much to learn. My little bantam hen (about 4 months old) produced 15 eggs. She is not very big and I was surprised with so many eggs. Well, she set on the eggs and three days ago a chick hatched and two days ago a second chick hatched. Since then no more hatchings and yesterday am she stopped setting on the eggs and just covering her two chicks. The chicks seem fine and she is really taking good care of them. The eggs were cold this afternoon and I took them out of the nesting box and put them under a light???? Is there any chance some will hatch? She showed no interest in the eggs and sort of pushed them aside.
