so it aggrevates my mom that I am going to have to keep the baby chicks inside for a while in their brooder. well she is set on them not being in the house. what can i do?!?!?

What about the basement or garage? If you provide enough heat wherever you put them, they should be fine. Don't fight with you mom though. Once she sees the baby chicks and you promise to take good care of them and keep the litter you use clean so it doesn't smell, I think they will grow on her. I know they did mine. I never thought in a million years, I would ever have chickens.

LOL my mom said the same thing I ended up having them in my room and the attic room and I don't realy want to do it again I am going to get chicks next time and keep them up here for tops two weeks and then they can go out into a tractor.

Good Luck
Henry

If you can maintain temp outside that is where I would keep them, they stir up LOTS of dust, you will have dust in places you didnt know you had.
