any help in identifying what breed my quackers might be would be greatly appreciated. I thought the white one might be Peking but his bill & feet are definitely not orange. They are so entertaining!!

Are they penned in there all day? Good chance your birds might develop some foot problems given the condition of you run, could you put some draining material like rocks or wood chips in the run?
since you brought up wood chips, we went to the dump and got a whole trailer load of wood chips for mulching our garden and flower beds. I've been thinking about putting some in the duck run but there are lots of sticks and some sharp pieces of wood in the load. I'm kinda afraid to put them in the run. Right now I've got hay and mud in the run. I'm sure that wood chips would look a lot better but I'm afraid for their little webbie feet! Am I wrong?

Well, I've had wood chips in my run for about a year and a half now and have yet to notice any foot-related problems within my flock, I've got some heavy breeds as well who don't show any signs of bumblefoot. I feel for you, I used to put hay in the run and come springtime its a stinky wet sloppy mess and loading it out will about break your back. Even with all the spring rains currently, my run has zero smell at all and the wood chips absorb and drain well so it's not muddy either. I'll have to get a picture, but currently, it's decomposed into black small pieces

I'd love to see a picture. Our county dump has mountains of free wood chips but I see all these awful bumble foot pictures (like the one today) and the person who rescued the 6 ducks from the hoarder farm on the forum and it freaks me out.
