Well a few weeks ago you all helped me on my journey to figuring out my Mary was in fact a Mario but this morning my boyfriend thought he heard our Java also singing a lovely song, so I’m asking for more advice, hen or roo?

the easter egger with the black head behind the chicken in question in the first photo is a roo. if you didnt know already

Those are two different birds. First is a pullet, second is a cockerel.

ETA: Kidding. Same bird but dry and then wet.

I know the chicken with the black head is a boy, he was the previous chicken in question and he sings to us daily. Now we’re questioning Sarah (white headed Java) they’re all about 12/13weeks
