Another rooster?

We have 12 chickens - 10 Rhode Island Reds (1 rooster and 9 hens) and two Polish Frizzle hens. The RIR's aren't very friendly so they are housed separately but all 12 chickens "free range" during the day. We are thinking of adding a Polish Frizzle rooster to the flock. Would this be ok? Again, he would be in the coop at night with the PF hens but would be out during the day with all the rest. Does anyone think we would have problems with that?

The RIR rooster would take exception to another rooster being added to his 'territory'. It is most likely that he would fight any new rooster.

Polish and Silkie birds especially get picked on because their crests make them look very different and also obscures their vision so they are perfect targets.

Welcome to BYC! I would keep them separate especially since the Polish wouldn't able to see his attacker.
