Another sick hen..same symptoms

Ha Ha..well...Not sure if having her inside for a few days to treat the crop issues triggered this or not, but she is definitely molting! This is what I found in the coop this morning. Whenever she flaps her wings, she explodes in feathers.

Stress (being inside/treatment) can trigger a molt.

I am so happy Winnie is better!! I read through every post in this thread and I was on the edge of my seat! So educational!! Like taking a "nursing chickens" course.....I learned so much!
Heat....I would never have known that. Thank you everyone for your excellent support of this poor struggling hen. Vantain....great follow-through on the help offered! So happy it all worked so well!
