This is our first silkie in about 7 years… straight run bantam bin at TSC.
S/he is a few days shy of 12 weeks old.
No visible comb or wattle growth… I know it is still early, but wondering if anyone has any thoughts one way or the other on gender?
I know silkie behavior is more docile but this chick has NONE of the emerging male energy my standard boys (same age) are displaying…. Lots of “bucking up” to each other among them!
