Another Silkie question...............

I want a mixed flock of egg layers (mainly pets though......) and wonder if anyone might have any suggestions on what breeds
might be the most compatible with Silkies?
I 'do' want larger hens (vs bantams........except the Silkies, of course!) and am attracted to the following breeds...................
in no particular order.........
Barred Rocks
Delawares
Sussex
Faverolles
Orpingtons
Wayondottes
Easter Eggers
but any other suggestions are welcome!!

Also, I will be having 1 roo with approx 6-8 hens........to be their "go-to" guy/protector, etc......and I would like him to be MAGNIFICENT looking and colorful!!!
Any recommendations (as far as "magnificence"??) (and, yes, I know this is totally subjective..........but that's what I'm asking for!)
