It really surprised me tonight, my broody got up on the roosts which are probably about 18 inches off the poop board and the chicks climbed the ramp to the poop board and were able to get up there, they are only a little over two weeks old! My other seven grown-up hens didn’t know what to do and were afraid to go into the coop. I ended up putting them in there myself. Hopefully everybody will be OK in the morning. I am allowing her to raise them herself I am trying not to interfere.
