Hello,
Is it better to add extra eggs in the middle of incubation process or better to just have 3 chicken eggs inside ? Because I had 5 eggs in the beginning but one wasn’t fertile and another had a blood ring. We are currently on day 7!

I don't know much about incubating but I think you should have three eggs

I do staggered hatches and made the mistake of only allowing 4 days between them. You can have as many in there as you want, but when you put new ones in, just go for 5-7 days between. That way you can do lockdown without risking either set of eggs.

Do not add any more eggs, it will create a staggered hatch and those don't do well.
