Anther chicken is sick, hoping its not mareks

The second pullet died this morning. We want to send her in to find out if it was mareks but today is Saturday...so can we refrigerate her for two days and send her in on monday or is two days to long?

Yes, that should be fine. Refrigerate and keep the body cool, but do not freeze it. Is there any possibility of taking the body to the lab on Monday morning? If not, the body would need to be shipped overnight via FEDEX or UPS. It is helpful to get a shipping label via email from the state vet on Monday morning. They just add that to the cost, and it may be less expensive. I would call them today or at least on Monday early morning to get details. Sorry for your loss.
