Anti-Chicken people - a vent

I feel all your anger. I live in an area that used to have all sorts of critters. Now we have houses . Lots of them! I still raise my girls. They never got around to changing the laws about animals. The new people say my girls are dirty and gross. I brought 6 day old chick to the bus stop for the kids to see . A little girl said she never touched a chick before, she reached out with 1 finger and touched the babe. Her mom freaked she ran to the car for hand sanitizer. Now she treats me like I have plague. It's a shame people don't educate themselves before they speak or act.
And yes I kiss my girls good night as does my 8yr girl. We sing to them too.

My cousin came up to retrieve the bird bath I've been watching over for her since October...and she was like don't touch the birds, they're dirty...and the kids did anyways...LOL
She probably made them sandblast their hands when they got home. I can't stand OCD people...
