Everybody who has not done so already please read about Baicalin for treatment of Avian influenza. It is a plant extract and it simply blocks the proteins that the virus adheres to, holding back its reproduction until the sufferer's immune system is able to develop antibodies. It can be used both to treat sick animals and to prevent spread of the virus to others. Not necessarily. They could be birds with bad breeding. I've seen plenty of posts on this site by people who have been properly caring for chickens for years and disease will randomly pop up and take out their flock(s). There are outside factors too, it's not just how they're cared for. In any case, it really seems like OP has little to no control over the care their animals get.
Obviously if you go this route, don't report your outbreak to the authorities because they will just kill everything, even birds that have recovered and are now immune, although if you trust your neighbors to keep their mouths shut it would be basic decency to keep them in the loop.
Conspiracy or not, a certain company is planning on getting very rich selling vaccines for this disease.
