I am not an expert in this kind of stuff but it is concerning. One part of the story was of a farmer with 900 geese all dying overnight due to the avian flu.
This Youtube channel isn't 100% reliable so I take what they say with a grain of salt, they like to push doom and gloom against the CCP. Still, they might be prone to exaggeration but haven't been known to outright lie in their stories. Click here for the video.
I did a few months of intensive research into poultry disease back in 2011 when I got into raising chickens again. It is sobering, they walk around living on a razor's edge between the disease, bacteria, and viruses present in their bodies and life and death. Which is why we quarantine when we move a hen more than into the next coop. If from the outside, put her up for two weeks before putting her into the flock.
Then back in the late 2010's I did some bacterial studies on countertop surfaces. Our source of the bacteria? Frozen whole chicken from Walmart. Let it thaw, take a table spoon of the juice from the body cavity, put into a growth medium, into an incubator, and good God the explosive growth. I would work in full protective gear but I managed to touch the top of my head once and somehow right between my shoulder blades about eight inches down. Probably a drop from changing out of the bio gear. Huge boils developed, half dollar size. Had to take a shot and a regime of oral antibiotics.
Bio security matters, people. Practice it. Doesn't have to be expensive. There isn't another USA to export meat, eggs, and chickens if this crap takes hold and mutates into humans. The mortality rate is massive too.
