Antibiotic dosage for hen with infected foot

I entered a post about a hen I had found a rose thorn in her foot that been in there a long time and became infected before I observed symptoms. It has been 4 days and I removed the bandage. the wound itself is almost healed but the foot is just as sore and just as swollen and I think there is some infection trapped in there. I'm planning on trying to reopen the wound but also have some oral antibiotic and wondered if I should give that to her. I have tri meth sulfa and doxycycline. Need to know which one if either to use and the dosage or should I just stick to cleaning the wound again?

I wouldnt give the antibiotic if she is acting good.. I dont like antis at all .. If you can put a big glob of triple antibitoic ointment on the foot and wrap it up for a day or soo.. If she acts sickly then I would try the Oral Antis./. Sorry I am not sure on the dosages..
