Poor bird needs our prayers Sunday morning after church we managed to get him out of the road before he was hit. It appear he has a broken leg. Called bird sanctuary but with negative results. She claimed that if he was put in a rehab center most likely he will be euthanizing. Not what I was expecting. So we will leave him to his own. The feed store in Antioch will put food out and we hope he will heal.

Sandhills are a federally protected species under the MBTA. Call fish and wildlife, not a rehabber.

Yes they are! That's the problem because they are protected no one wants to help. Now that's it Monday I will try that thank you for your advice
