Antique Brooder

Hi all,
We were gifted an antique brooder—an Oakes MFG., 801A.

It works great—we are using it for a 2nd round of chicks now.

Any one have a sense of how old this brooder might be? Are there groups that collect items like this?

I've personally only ever seen one for sale.. they said it was made in the 50s. Sorry that I can't be of more help than that!

The company went out of business in 1949 so at least that old.
