Ants in turkey run

I'm having problems with ants in my turkey run, does anyone know of a pesticide safe to use in the run or anything else I can do to get rid of them without harming my turkeys. thanks

Dry cornmeal. Put it in a container where the turkeys can't see it. The ants will eat it up, it will swell in their abdomens & they will die. They'll even bring it back to the queen, so your colonies will be gone in short order. Keep it out of the rain too & not out on humid days. If the cornmeal gets damp then you might as well be feeding them for free.
