Anxious, help!

Right when I wasn't expecting it . . . I have a pip!!!!! You all were right, I shouldn't have worried. I will keep you updated as it (and hopefully the other eggs) hatch!

Here is a picture!!!! The egg with a pip is the white one in the back. Idk if you can see the pip well, but it definitely wasn't there a 5 minutes ago.

Yay! So happy for you :) Now comes the part where you have to sit on your hands and not get too worried about the hatch! It will seem like it's taking forever :p

Another pip! This one is in the brown egg that turned sideways.
Side not: The pipped eggs are peeping back and forth!!!!! I've been playing a video of chicks cheeping to encourage them to hatch, but they're encouraging each other!

My day 21 is over at 8:30am today, (2 hours & 20 minutes) no visible pips, I only have 6 eggs left out of 12 that we’re posted. I have a terrible feeling they’re not going to hatch

Hey everyone!
I'm getting a little worried. The first egg pipped at around 8pm last night, but it is now 5:30am and it hasn't really progressed. The hole is slightly bigger, but nothing else has happened. How long does it usually take for a chick to go from pip to zipper?
Also, I can see the membrane of the brown egg. It looks a little dry, is that normal? I was going to add more water because I'm worried there's not enough humidity, but I dont want to "shrink-wrap" the babies!!!

Here's a picture:
Chicks are still peeping, by the way. Idk if that's a good or bad sign

Don't worry yet! It can take 24hrs from pip to zip - mine were resting for about 16 hours on the last hatch before they did anything. As long as it can breath it should be good. In general, don't think about assisted hatching until 24hrs has passed - and read up on it well as you can cause more harm than good if you aren't careful. Just wait it out and see :)
