Thanks so much! This is great!At 7 days I’d expect to see a good amount of veining. If your eggs are really dark eg Wellsummers or Marans it may not be very evident though. A non fertile egg will just look clear. If in doubt I leave mine in the incubator for a few more days.
I don’t have many candling pics but there’s some good videos on YouTube. In the meantime here’s a couple of duds. Pic one is a quitter (note no veining, just a dark, dead mass) important to remove that although this pic is more than a week in. The other pic is an infertile egg. View attachment 1468463

Hahaha... Yes I did it. Although I'm not sure on some of them! I couldn't tell if it had died or if there was a random short dark line running vertically through the egg. Also, I saw what looked like the egg was growing on one side of the shell...hmmm. Other than that they look great lolDon't wait til tonight.

This is awesome!here is a videos that shows you what is going on in the eggs it says that the chick hatchs on day 21 in this video but it could anytime from day 18 and on lol
No prob I found it on a hatch a long when I was hatching some chicks I thought it was pretty cool to see what happens in the eggThis is awesome!
