thanks for responding hugerat, i am actually in south england currently, but i am an american. i'm not in a place where i can have my chickens yet, but i am doing a lot of research for when i can have them. yeah when i get settled i will check cl in my area and see if there is anything good.
hello darkmatter, i looked at your page and coop, thanks. i am assuming that w/ some more research i would *probably* have no problem building my own coop, as i used to help my father w/ some of his building projects when i was a kid. i know the basics of course, like how to hammer a nail and use a level (the thing w/ the air bubble in it right
) and a screwdriver, but i certainly have never "roofed" anything. i am a patternmaker for clothing, so i am pretty good with a ruler/tape measure and planning things out, but would that translate well to wood?
well i guess i had better go start reading about carpentry and building then eh?
