I'm so sorry you lost your precious duck.

Darn snakes, we have to watch out for them here as well. I just wanted to say for general information, never ice a snake bite. I can't remember the hows and whys of it-something to do with circulation I think. You also wouldn't want to elevate the bite site, as it would cause the venom to spread quicker towards the heart. That said, you did all you could for her, and she knew she was loved.

I lost one of my ducks too about a month ago. It hurts. It realy does...
