Trying to avoid shipped eggs and CL does not show any sources. Does anyone know of a Colorado source for Bobwhite hatching eggs?

If not, what shippers have you used and what sort of success have you had? Thanks everyone.

I just did my second hatch of quail ever. They were shipped eggs from Ohio and I'm in Alabama. I ordered 50 Italian Coturnix eggs from Myshire farm. They sent 60 and one was cracked. I set 59 and candled them at lockdown. 9 were infertile and I left 50 in the incubator. I hatched 49 today and the last one is pipped and waiting for him to zip.

I have 200 more shipped eggs in the incubator that will be hatching at the end of the month. I would not hesitate to order shipped eggs. When purchasing shipped eggs I go in expecting a 60% hatch rate and if it is higher, even better.

I would try kansasquail.com They have good prices and are not far from you. I have never ordered from them though.
