There are many "mixes" that hatcheries trademark or otherwise name.. Easter Egger is of these mixes.


I'd say some type of "Easter Egger".

I have to agree with the Easter Egger mix. They are not a true breed,,, just need to lay colored eggs. I know Ameraucanas usually have muffs, and usually beards. This one lacks these traits, but may lay colored Eggs. Therefore falls in line of EE.
I long ago had 3 EE. They were of the Ameraucana type origins. Each one layed a different color egg. One was blue. one, was pinkish, and last one was between olive, and brown. Their egg colors did vary slightly, during different times. I imagine due to their natural diet intake.

An Easter egger can be anything that lays a colored egg. There isn't a breed standard for looks.
