Any breed guesses?

She is 6 weeks old, from a local pet store that ordered choice and ornamental layers from McMurray. She is very blue and has some fierce eyebrows!

There are many "mixes" that hatcheries trademark or otherwise name.. Easter Egger is of these mixes.


I'd say some type of "Easter Egger".
I have to agree with the Easter Egger mix. They are not a true breed,,, just need to lay colored eggs. I know Ameraucanas usually have muffs, and usually beards. This one lacks these traits, but may lay colored Eggs. Therefore falls in line of EE. :thumbsup :idunno
I long ago had 3 EE. They were of the Ameraucana type origins. Each one layed a different color egg. One was blue. one, was pinkish, and last one was between olive, and brown. Their egg colors did vary slightly, during different times. I imagine due to their natural diet intake.
