Thanks for the fun input! I'd guess Leghorn too...I'll see if I have any pics of her/him when a bit older. Yes, the chicken WAS a bit of an arsonist. It's coop was attached to the outside of an attached garage, and if the homeowner hadn't been an early riser and noticed the flames outside the window, we could add more serious charges to it's rap sheet. Our guess was that it tried to roost on top of the heat lamp (gee, haven't heard THAT one before?) and knocked it down, igniting its bedding. And, since it was raining, the silly bird didn't want to go outside in the fresh air. Sigh.
