so...on a positive note....what kind of studies are y'all doing and what are your group make-ups? I ask this because i am about to start our Wed. night group on a new study. We are gonna look at the origins of hoidays and other belief systems so we can better answer questions and understand folks and why they may fear or distrust or question christians. Our group would so not work on paper if you put it together! trust me...I have taken all sorts of counseling courses about how to put together small groups! Anyways...we range in age from 17 to 92. 4 widows, 5 married, 2 divorced, only two of the couples both attend..anyways

Our church is doing the one month to live challege. But with the baby coming not sure how much we are going to do. I'm trying to read the Bible all the way through on my own. I try every year and never make it. Maybe i can do it this one.

The doctor hasn't sent a date for me to be induced. She will let me go two weeks past my date but thats it. I'm hopeing she will come this week. Tuesday or after. I have something going on tomorrow and monday.

Jesus is my deliverer and healer. I have been delivered of impure thoughts, a 2 pack a day cigarette habit back in 1998, drinking, breast cancer and a volotile abusive relationship. My husband was delivered too. We were divorced for five years wherein the Lord worked on both of us and our marriage was reconciled in 2000. I have learned that God works his glory through negative situations and to be patient and wait upon Him. He has washed me with the water of the word. I have never been a member of organized religeon as I realized that he baptizes you into His body and only Jesus can make you a member of His body. My life was like a walk through a terrible fire with catastrophes and even the death of my first baby son. He was with me in all of that. He never left me. We are purifed through fire and he baptises with fire and the holy spirit. He that lives godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. He is my covering. We have to beware lest any man try to make carry you off as a prisoner thorugh philosophy and vain deceit after the traditions of man and the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. In Christ dwells all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
He has given me the gifts of discernment and total recall of all the scriptures without having to do the works of memorizing them. He has set me apart and called me by my new name, Jezreel.
I am also the grandmother of 11 grandchildren, 3 girls and the rest boys. I have 7 cats and 2 rabbits and 8 baby chicks. God has been so good to me even when I did not deserve it, he was and is my loving father. If any man be in Christ he is a new creation. Old things are passed away and all things become new.

best of luck with the reading....get a buddy to read with you and discuss what you read...might help. Are you erading in order or skipping around using one of the many guides?

babies...they are so neat....bite the feet for me! I like baby feet...they get nasty as the kid gets older

Struggling Christian mom here, trying to raise some Christian step daughters and a husband

I married into this pre existing family 8 years ago, and we have journeyed together from one end of existence to the other, and have wound up broken, beat down, and ultimately lifted up by the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The family that hadn't a chance in hell, now has a glorious opportunity within the body of Christ. From our experiences there is no other way, and we are in all humility, honored to be a part of the family of Christ. It is nice to have so many brothers and sisters on BYC and be able to share the faith with you all! I have it counted as one more blessing
