PLEASE...be so kind as to correct me IF I'm WRONG:

It was my "understanding" of the BYC "Rules" that POLITICS and RELIGION are two TOPICS "not to be discussed on BYC".

Was I mis-informed or did I mis-interpret the rules?

I have noticed there is a Pagan thread. Have not checked it out. Don't plan on it. Since this thread is in the non-poultry part of BYC, I see nothing wrong with it. If we stay off politics and religion and stay on topic as to poultry and Christ, we should be alright.

In my opinion, if one disagrees with the topic, then one should stay off the thread. Not trying to be mean, but if the topic is offensive, then why go on it. Have seen several topics that I disliked, have not looked at any of them.

There is currently a long-running pagan thread here. As long as no one on either thread causes trouble, they will remain open, in the sense of fairness. So, Christians post in this thread, pagans post in the other. Seems pretty simple. So, let's all be nice, please.

That is not exactly correct. The words are "strongly discouraged".​

It has been active since 1/12/10 and has not been removed. If Pagans can discuss their religious ideas on a thread, surely Christians can. I was wondering how long before someone starting to complain about this thread or tried to hijack it.
