Any California gardeners?

A picture from yesterday. The tomatoes should be starting to turn ripe soon. Been getting lots of peppers, but from only 1 type of pepper so far. Picked my first yellow green beans this morning. Ordered some green lacewings and preying Mantis egg pouches. Aphids still horrible, squash bugs are starting to reproduce.

Hi
I am in northern CA too. Santa Cruz. I am actually new to gardening too. I think this pandemic brought all this on. We build five planter boxes and it has about everything, from Squash to peppers, tomatoes, peas, lettuce, fennel, broccoli, and carrots in it.
We are still in the process to install a drip line system, however, it keeps on leaking. I am struggling with that one a bit, I can not get the fittings to connect tight enough with the black tubing for some reason. So for now, I am still hand-watering with duck poop water every day. For me, this is definitely a learning curve.
I tried to grow peppers but the dog got in that bed this year. I’m in the Redding area.

Wow, it sounds like you've got a great garden going this summer! I would love to see pictures. Raised beds are a fantastic way to grow vegetables.

I don't think I can help you with the irrigation problem, I use soaker hoses and don't have drip irrigation set up. But if I know exactly which fittings you are having trouble with, I can ask someone for you.

Well, I think it is actually a drip system with soaker hoses. It is from rain bird ( I think that is what it is called). I got it at home depot. I have been following all the instructions, yet I have leaks at the T's and 90's (elbows)....yikes.
Thank you for trying to help.

I took some pictures with my phone today, I will have to wait for one of my kids to show me how to get them from my phone (android) onto my mac computer....always a challenge. Once I got that done, I will post some.

You can post them from your Android too. I'm using mine to post now!

The garden is getting big. Aphid problem is all but disappeared, the predator bugs must have done the trick. There are a few squash bugs left, but I don't think the mantis eggs have hatched yet. I am rolling in squash and cukes, and have early pumpkins. I decided to ferment my burgundy okra, okra is yuck to me but I grew it to resupply old seedstock. Tomatoes are starting to ripen, I've only picked a few so far. The beans aren't doing that well for whatever reason, maybe next year will be better!

Looking good!

I’ve been harvesting stuff like crazy, here’s yesterday’s pick from the first photo, the second one is today. That’s about what I’ve been pulling up each morning.
