I've been posting and reading on S.S., and it's a nice area, if a little slow, traffic-wise.

It seems odd that 3 subjects that are often integral to a S.S. lifestyle, (or the attempt at one) namely gardening, poultry keeping, and livestock, are not included in the various sections. You can post here for poultry, where there's no sustainable/organic poultry section, or on S.S., where there's no poultry section. I haven't yet had time to read much on Easy Gardens, and none yet on BYH, so I don't know what they have, yet.

S.S. seems to be a natural place to add those three subjects, since, as I mentioned, a self sufficient lifestyle often includes those areas. It would give that one forum more versatility.

ETA: I like this site and SS very much, and I know that it takes a lot of work to keep forums this large running smoothly. You do a great job, and I appreciate all the work that goes into it. I also recognize that you can't please everybody, all the time.
