(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Sort of...had them growing up many moons ago. (Then we raised cockatiels and Amazon Parrots...little different.)
(2) How many chickens do you have right now
? 3: babies (3-weeks old)(3) What breeds do you have? 2 Dominiques and an EE
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Pets, mainly. Then eggs. Realizing now they help with anxiety.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Photography
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. Stay at home mom since November '19, 3 kids, 2 dogs, 1 cat, 1 turtle, two poor carnival goldfish (5-years old now...quite proud), 1 rat, and now...3 chicks.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? Originally, I found this site searching for Coop info.
***Hello! I'm another new chick(en) owner but my opening question is 'Anyone have a chicken that was similar as a chick' so I know what she may look like? I have two Dominiques and one EE. All from Meyer, hatched on 4/27.' I'm just curious as to what our EE may end up looking like (if anybody had one similar as a chick this age). But mainly wanted to introduce myself.
I've learned a lot here the past month or so.
