Yeah, It could be a brahma but with the feathered cheeks I would say more of an Araucana. That is an adorable little bird by the way.

thanks! My mom brought us some chicks that a duck hatched (yep, a duck) and we have no clue what any of them are! We don't care though---happy to add whatever to our flock!
