I do agree that Mom is some type of american game or game cross. Be wary if you do not want a lot of chickens, because they will set every chance they get! I had several when I was in high school and they would run off and set in the brush and come back with a dozen or more chicks! I crossed some of mine with my RIR and got some great hens.
