Any differences between incubating bantam eggs and standard eggs?

I have had my first 2 hatches now, which were both pretty successful. Both times, I had one bantam egg in the incubator, both of which were given to me by a relative. Neither hatched, so each time I cracked the egg open at the end to try to figure out what went wrong.

The first egg had a well-developed chick in it. I guess it must have drowned at the end or something. Though 9 out of 10 standard sized eggs hatched, this one bantam egg didn't make it.

The 2nd time, I only had 4 eggs because a relative gave them to me several days after I started the first hatch. All 3 of my standard eggs made it, but once again the bantam egg didn't hatch. I cracked it and it was fairly well developed, but not completely as the first one had been.

Is there something I need to do differently for bantam eggs than for standard eggs? Should they be kept in a separate incubator or at a different temperature? I have Silkie eggs in now and hope the same thing does not happen with all of them.

I hatch mine all together, mille fleur project bantam cochins, Copper Black Marans, Easter Eggers, Naked Necks, oversized tan "marans" eggs that are as big as turkey eggs. They all hatch the same. I would think that a bantam egg would have a greater surface to mass ratio which would make the eggs dry out more quickly than a larger egg, but I don't have a problem. I run my humidity around 50% and temps on top of the eggs around 101 and most do okay, not all. Hope this helps.

Thanks ya'll. Maybe it was just coincidence that neither of them made it. The 2nd one did look kind of dried out, so maybe it was something to do with the humidity. The other eggs did great, though. Maybe I will have better luck with the Silkie eggs.
