I have 3 young slate turkeys, about 6 weeks old. They are all from the same breeder, all the same age, but one of them is about twice as big as the others, and this one 'calls' all the time. I never hear the other 2 calling. I think I have 1 tom and 2 hens, going by their size, but I was wondering if there is another, sure-fire way, to tell the sexes of them?

there isnt one at this age.
If they all hatched at the same time, body size, and leg thickness will be a decent guess at male /females, obviously the males being bigger. It takes time on turkeys though out side of the bronze, you can feather sex them at about 12 weeks

I've noticed that on most of my baby turkeys of various breeds at hatch or shortly after, the males little snoods seem to be bigger and button like where as the females snoods tend to be small and thinner. It is normally pretty correct for me.
