Any experience with thiamine deficiency?

Hello,

I would like to use medicated chick starter for the first 5 weeks for my new chicks while exposing them to run/yard soil. I am wondering if anyone has had experience with thiamine deficiency in their chicks on typical medicated chick feed. As I’m reading this as a potential concern. Thank you!

You have nothing to worry about if that's all you plan on feeding them.

It's a potential concern as in theoretically possible. I've not heard of it actually happening.
