My flock consists of 4 week old chicks of the following breeds: “Americana”(EE), Welsummer, cinnamon queen, gold lace Wyandotte, & buff Orpington. I ordered all females, from Hoover’s.

This particular one is much more aggressive than all the other chicks, has a longer neck, and very thick legs. Based on leg color, I believe it’s an EE.

I am leaning toward the thought that it’s a cockerel. Anyone want to give an opinion/educated guess on the sex?

(I'm not an expert this is just what I think, please don't get mad at me if I'm wrong).

It looks like it has more of a droopy tail than the others, which I'm pretty sure normally means they're a rooster. The hens have more pointed tails, at least from what Ive seen. All my friends adult EE hens have pointy tails and her EE rooster has a droopy tail, so (I think) maybe it's a rooster.

Again, wait for more experienced people to come in I just thought I'd share my thoughts.
