Hi all I had a duckling that I helped to hatch last night because he'd pipped & hadn't had any progress toward zipping for hours. He looked pretty good though I wanted to let him have some time in the bator to gain some strenght & rest etc. He's dried up pretty good now though still has some matter stuck to his back but seems to be getting around the bator & all fine. I'm thinking of taking him out & letting him go to the brooder with the other 4 but I was wondering if I should be treating him to some special nutrition or should I be keeping him separate from the rest for a while?
