Any good advise for starting a chicken farm?

On a more serious note if your husband is having healh problems and can't work I'm hope you are prepared to work your butt off cause runing even a small scale operation is nothing but work work work.

I know what you mean. Me and our teenage boys do alot of the farm work around here to keep things going. We already have a small flock so yeah that is to be expected. I never heard of making a living sitting on your backside.LOL! Sorry, had to say it. We all work very hard around here and we know how much work it is going to be. I guess my general question was how to get it started. I need to do some reading obviousely! I'm goofy sometimes.
