We would like to try our hand at hatching some eggs, however the Brinsea brand incubators are far outside my price point. Are there any other brands of incubators that cost less but that do a good job?

I use this incubator and have had good hatches. It’s not as hands free as the brinsea but definitely on hundred percent better than the cheap still air. I use a second thermometer/hygrometer, wrap a scarf around it. Regulating humidity can be a challenge but after a few days I figured out how much and when I needed to add water. I also used the Nature Right 360 but it wasn’t mine and in summer so really didn’t get a good feel for how well it could regulate temperature.Get this. You can find it cheaper on Ebay, I think.... just do a search for '12 egg incubator'. Many members here have used this incubator and have been successful.... just get a separate temp/hygrometer for like $10 and calibrate it. It works.
