Any guesses on breed or gender

I need help with these 2 cuties, they are just over 4 weeks old so I know gender may be a problem but hoping for help with breeds. I've been able to tell gender on my other chicks but these are confusing me. Thanks in advance!

I don't know what they are...but I know for sure they are not Easter eggers. If they were they would have puffy cheeks and most likely greenish legs.

Not all easter eggers have muffs, beards, or even green legs. I'm guessing you might have an australorp and maybe a speckled sussex

I think your black and brown bird may be a Barnevelder, but I could be wrong. Not a Speckled Sussex, they have white legs. Your black bird isn't an Australorp either, they have slate legs, whereas your two both have yellow legs.

I don't see anything EE about either of them.

They look like Dark Cornish to me. If I am correct with the breed, then the mostly black/dark brown one is a cockerel, and the other one is a pullet.
