These chicks were from my daughter’s biology class, they are 13 weeks old. No idea on breed/ predominant breed. The little bantam has 5 toes and feathered feet. The gray one is quite large compared to the rest, almost as big as my full size buff Orpington. The little roo is super colorful.

Any guesses?

Feathered legged guy may have some Marans.
Little guy with brown hackle(neck) feathers may have some kind of game.
Where did the eggs come from, I assume biology class hatched eggs?

Where in this world are you located?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, (laptop version shown), then it's always there!

I know it’s frustrating, but I think it’s just too hard to pinpoint breeds. Some things narrow it down like puffy cheeks, black skin, top knot, five toes, yellow feet and feathered legs. Combs and patterns are not enough. It’s too hard.
