Any guesses on gender? 6 week chicken mutts

These are my 6 6 week olds. I am quite certain I have more cockerels than pullets. It is really hard to take pics of chickens!!

I'm open to guesses, thanks in advance

The huge bright red comb he had by 3 weeks kinda gave him away. Unfortunately, the kids had already named him Pineapple . I hope you're right! I've been trying to use all the pictures and gender rules, but I think they're a bit young yet for me to sex them with my limited experience with young chickens.

I agree. Pineapple/Dude is a cockerel.

We did! They're all so different, I can't wait to see how they turn out. The farm we got the eggs from have cochins, australorps, buff orpingtons and probably lots of mixes of those breeds. We have another 8 from the same place that are about 2 weeks old, I'll be coming back to the Wise peeps of BYC for more guesses in a few weeks.

I love mixed breeds, they are turn out so beautifully!
