Any guesses on the breed and the gender?

About 23-25 days old, having her ugly phase, please ignore the soupy dirty crop.
Mostly black with white on the throat and belly. Dark green / hazel (?) eyes. Yellow comb, beak and legs mostly black with yellow here and there. Has a small bald spot under ears.

Have convinced my mother to have a pet chicken instead of a puppy, and got this little guy for her. Its not our first pet chicken but we are unfamiliar with its breed

Did you get anymore? Chickens need to be around other chickens.

It's still too early to really tell for sure. Repost when the chick is around 6-8 weeks.

Do you have any more chicks, or is this one alone? You really should have at least 2, preferably 3.
